Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that seem to bring a little outside to the inside along with the natural light in abundance, this gorgeous family-owned space is perfect for any season. Your indoor ceremony at Prairie Production will nowhere be less than an outdoor ceremony. If the illusion of being outside isn’t enough, this beautiful Chicago wedding venue offers an outside area with two outdoor courtyards as well for your alfresco wedding which is also perfect for your open-air cocktail hour. And the cherry on the cake is that inside/outside both the large outdoor courtyard and garden terrace are included in all wedding packages. The venue also has a chic Bridal Suite for you to get ready with your bridesmaids and have a relaxed getting-ready photo session with your gal pals and your doting mother. Also, there is ample free street parking on the service drives on Randolph along with two paid lots within a block of the venue. 

Doubling as a photography studio, the ceremony site allows you to transform its event spaces to fit what you have in your head for your wedding day and wedding photography alike. The unique space has an industrial loft-inspired feel with 20-foot high ceilings, glossy cement floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a blank canvas for you to make their own. There's plenty of attention-grabbing details in this quirky studio that specializes in antiques, vintage furniture, and one-of-a-kind finds. Exposed bricks, mirrors, and massive glass windows provide an endless amount of photo ops, plus the collection of unique décor makes for one unconventional reception space that can accommodate up to 200 (with a dance floor). You will be provided with tables to seat 150 wedding guests of yours that are included with the cost of the space. Doesn’t it sound like a great modern option for brides looking for a blank canvas to have a large or small wedding? The location is also perfect for out-of-town guests! Inside, you'll have a view of the courtyard, which can be used as a quaint ceremony locale during the warmer months for up to 200. Also, they have an iPod compatible sound system and welcome live music and DJs. Other facilities include three single-use restrooms, handicap accessibility, canine friendliness, decor and photography services, and complete production services.

This spectacular space is a gorgeous mix of fine details and clean, raw elements. Windows flood in natural light while custom modern fixtures and classic ball pendant lights provide lighting that sets the right mood for every celebration. With an open floor plan, white walls, and a combination of painted concrete and hardwood floors, Prairie Production is a perfect ceremony site for brides to plan a modern, elegant affair near the West Loop of Chicago. Guests will also enjoy amazing food and stellar service from the Prairie Production’s catering team. The studio wedding venue has a large workroom for caterers with an attached loading dock as well.

Prairie Production also welcomes any vendors for your big day. From arrival to departure, you’re able to create and execute every detail and choose your prospective vendors. Not into DIY like Sabrina and Nicks? Let your wedding planner find the best options for your dream vision and bring them into reality. All modern event space amenities are provided, including the music system, wireless internet, abundant guest parking, and even a canine-friendly space so that your furry friends don’t miss out on your big day. Not only this, but the facility also has a workroom for the caterer equipped with a fridge, sink, freezer, and work surfaces (the caterer brings in all other equipment with the rental furniture). They have four five-ton air conditioners and a heated floor to keep your guests comfortable in any season.

Couples to-be-married have access to the facility at 9 a.m. on the day of their wedding. There is a Prairie staff member on-site throughout your wedding day. You can use any caterer that can render a certificate of liquor and liability insurance and City of Chicago Liquor License. Any venue that allows you to BYOB is a venue after our own heart. After all, it saves a buck or two! The average base cost for a Prairie Production wedding is calculated by figuring a 125-person guest list for a Saturday wedding May-November using a food/beverage cost of $125/pp. Entertainment, flowers, additional decorations and rentals, transportation, and photography are not included. Price is rounded up to the nearest thousand. Gratuity and tax are included in the average base cost. The facility rental fee May through November (in season) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is $4,000, $5,000, and $3,000 respectively. While December through March the in-season rates are discounted $1,000. April offers a $500 discount.
