The Classic Garden Wedding of Jawada and Nick At The Atrium, Atlanta

10-20-22

When you hear the words "wedding planning," what is the first thing that comes to mind? For all of you soon-to-be brides, starting to plan a wedding may sound interesting and fun, but there are so many things to do that it is very important to have a wedding checklist on hand so you don't forget anything. No matter if you want to wear cowboy boots instead of swoon-worthy wedding shoes or if you want to get married wearing a casual backyard wedding dress, there is one thing that can't be changed: you have to choose a wedding venue. Even though there are a lot of romantic wedding venues in cities and towns from coast to coast, our favorite type of wedding venue will always be garden-themed ones.

The idyllic setting of garden wedding venues, with their rolling hills and old barns, is what makes them so easy to relate to and gives us a warm feeling in our hearts. Everything, from cowboy boots and pick-up trucks to wild meadows and vineyards, makes for perfect romantic wedding photos at any time of the year.

Garden-themed reception venues can be decorated in a way that gives them a vintage look and feel. This can give you a blank slate on which to put any wedding theme you have always wanted. It is also interesting to note that because the rolling fields and beautiful countryside settings make up ninety percent of the wedding decorations, you can choose a very simple and outdoorsy wedding color scheme or theme and save a lot of money.

On a sunny day, the small courtyards and gardens of barn wedding venues look like they came straight out of a fairy tale, and the countryside wedding photos are a striking reminder of Taylor Swift's "Crazier" from the soundtrack for Hannah Montana. There is something so dreamy about rolling green hills full of roses and old stone buildings, as well as handmade reception table centerpieces, wrought iron chandeliers, original wooden beams wrapped in fairy lights, and large windows with original minimalistic and impactful wedding details.

There are so many great things about rustic and vintage country wedding venues that it's hard to think of them all at once. Whether it's because the wedding venues are all-inclusive or because there are so many places to take pictures, if you choose a fairytale wedding venue for your nuptials, there's no doubt that your wedding photographer is in for a treat. Whether you want to use wildflowers or a sunflower boutonniere for the groom, fancy centerpieces made of thistle and lavender, or you imagine your first dance under the warm glow of bistro lights on a vintage porch, the pictures of a rustic wedding venue will create magic for your wedding photos.

On a beautiful weekend in the fall of 2021, we were blown away by the chance to record a love story that looked like it came straight from a European postcard. With their chemistry and romantic gestures, the Atlanta couple Jawada and Nick reminded us of an old-fashioned love story. There was also something so otherworldly about them that we felt the connection on a different level.

Being natives of Atlanta, both Jawada and Nick knew from the start that they wanted to get married in Atlanta because of its natural beauty and urban chic vibe. Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, is a beautiful city with sunny skies and a lively vacation vibe. There are interesting museums and old libraries, as well as unique restaurants and shopping areas, that will give our Atlanta wedding photographers a feast they will never forget. Fall weddings in Atlanta are beautiful to look at because of how close they are to nature, which makes the whole place feel like an endless autumn dream.

Nick and Jawada chose the classic wedding venue that goes by the name of Atrium. This northwest Atlanta wedding venue is conveniently located on the Northeast edge of Smyrna, surrounded by a great variety of hotels and restaurants in the vicinity. The Atrium wedding venue's soaring neoclassical architecture features a mezzanine level overlooking a two-story glass ballroom in Norcross's historic district. In its private gardens, a three-tiered fountain on one terrace and a vine-covered gazebo on the other create the ideal setting for your fantastical wedding in the Atlanta suburbs. This is the perfect place to capture your most precious moments forever, as our professional photographers in Atlanta take stunning couple portraits on the grand terrace, set against an idyllic background full of rustic charm and vintage splendor. As soon as we walked into this historic wedding venue in Atlanta, it was clear why our couple chose this place to start their "forever together."

The Atrium wedding venue in Atlanta is a one-of-a-kind reception space in historic Norcross, Georgia, and is a modern interpretation of an ancient Greek temple surrounded by an aromatic secret garden. Beyond a wrought-iron gate covered with climbing vines, a perpetually blooming garden can be found for your garden wedding ceremony in Atlanta. In the spring, full-grown lilac azaleas fill the air with their sweet fragrance, followed by a shower of tiny white jasmine flowers cascading over the pavilion's filigreed dome. Summer brings seasonal delights such as daylilies, gardenias, and the fluffy flowers of mophead hydrangeas, combined with repeat-blooming impatiens and hybrid roses. The annuals continue to thrive throughout the autumn until the first frost when they are replaced by winter pansies and snapdragons.

Adding structure to the landscape are two courtyards. In the upper courtyard, a three-tiered fountain can be adorned with floral sprays to create an unusual outdoor focal point. The lower courtyard designed for outdoor ceremonies is accessible by stepping stones arranged in a graceful curve. A garden bench is sheltered by a verdant arbor, creating a secluded spot ideal for private moments and clicking couple wedding portraits. At one end of the lower courtyard, the happy couple will find a magnificent Italian stone gazebo topped with an iron filigree dome. An all-year-round splash of color is provided by a bed of annual flower blooms opposite the gazebo.

An intimate mezzanine level overlooking the ballroom provides a private retreat with plush sofas and additional chairs and tables. Before the ceremony, the groom and his groomsmen can unwind with a drink at this location and click amazing groomsmen portraits. A stunning bridal suite awaits the bride and her attendants, opulently appointed with dark chocolate and cream furnishings and three backlit mirrors. This is the perfect place for creating memorable bridesmaid portraits! The expansive ballroom on the lower level features a large dance floor. This upscale urban venue is further characterized by a sleek, custom-built bar against one wall. Due to Mother Nature's unpredictability, the open floor plan can easily accommodate indoor ceremonies for up to 150 guests while allowing them to enjoy the garden's beauty through windows that reach two stories in height. The Atrium reception venue is the ideal place for the couple who dreams of exchanging vows in a charming courtyard and dancing the night away in a contemporary, sophisticated ballroom.

As the sun rose on the wedding day at The Atrium, our wedding photographers in Atlanta got ready to take pictures of one of the most elegant weddings in Atlanta. We met Jawada and Nick on their perfect wedding day and this picturesque marriage was absolutely overflowing with amazing moments that the couple and guests will never forget. The entire morning of preparations of both bridesmaids and groomsmen soon led up to several dramatic moments. They started the glorious wedding day with some detailed shots that ranged from the fairytale-themed wedding details and the neutral cream bridesmaids getting ready robes to the gorgeous bridal and groom accessories laid out beautifully on a table. Right before the wedding ceremony commenced, there were several breathtaking shots that captured the precious bridesmaids' moments of this wedding day from the bride posing with the gang of bridesmaids, draped up in a satin robe as she was surrounded by bridesmaids that flared robes to the gorgeous wedding gown pictured against a neutral white backdrop.

Jawada slipped into her chic ivory wedding gown which was an A-line dress with a mermaid drop, spaghetti sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline. The ivory wedding dress had a long train that was perfectly accentuated with a diamond-studded simple necklace and a pair of stud earrings. The flowy cathedral wedding veil was tucked in her elegantly done hairdo, which was loosely caressing her shoulders with curled-up flicks and wisps adorning her pretty face. She also wore a stunning crystal bridal comb that made a statement bridal piece! The light bridal makeup was flawlessly enhancing her bright facial features and the classic multicolored greenery bridal bouquet completed her stunning bridal look.

Nick, our handsome groom, looked great by wearing a two-piece formal suit with a crisp white shirt, black suspenders, and a black bow. The shiny black derby shoes, gold boutonniere, and formal coat he wore to his wedding ceremony not only finished off his amazing groom look, but they also went well with the beautiful wedding clothes and made them picture-perfect. The bridesmaids set the theme for the whole wedding by deciding to wear long, flowing bridesmaid satin dresses in different shades of pink creating a picture-perfect mismatched bridesmaid look. The groomsmen also helped create the picture-perfect wedding theme by dressing smartly in crystal black formal suiting with crisp white shirts, black bow ties, and shiny black derby shoes.

Before the wedding ceremony, the Atlanta wedding photography session showcased some beautiful wedding photos of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and the family as they posed in the beautiful garden settings. They were soon joined by our beautiful couple, and the wedding photography session in Atlanta looked so pretty with them set against different architectural details. The beautiful first-look portraits of Jawada and Nick as they embraced each other before the wedding ceremony showed us some of the last moments before they were married for good. Photos from the Atlanta wedding photography session showed everything from how Jawada's eyes sparkled when she smiled and held Nick's hands to how the newlyweds made a dramatic wedding exit to the magical moment when the wedding vows were being said.

The wedding party quickly got back together to take some beautiful family photos for the photo book. Before going to the wedding reception, our fun-loving Atlanta couple took a walk through the beautiful and peaceful garden settings. Our Atlanta couple photographers did a great job of capturing some of the most beautiful couple portraits during these precious moments. The evening couple portraits are without a doubt the most beautiful thing in the wedding album!

After the professional photos were done, Jawada and Nick's wedding reception started. Our professional Atlanta couple photographers didn't miss a single moment of this wedding reception. As the couple cut their chic white wedding cake with a gold topper and danced around the dance floor like teenagers in love, our photographers were able to capture all of the small details. The energy that this couple brought to their wedding day was really contagious, and it will always be a happy memory for us.

Jawada and Nick made us feel like we were back in the good old days when the most romantic things were telling your sweetheart you loved them while singing on the porch or winning their heart by winning a stuffed toy at a village fair. After all these years, we started to believe in soulmates and fairy tales again because this newly married couple made us feel cozy and at home. They made us think that it's okay to be classic in a world where trends change quickly!
