Jacqueline And Mike’s Beautiful Outdoorsy Providence Black-Tie Wedding

09-26-23

One of the most beautiful days of your life is your wedding day. From the moment your partner gets on a knee and asks you to marry them, it is very clear what you want in your life, and that is to spend it with them! Jacqueline and Mike’s love story was similar. From the engagement, the two had wholeheartedly dedicated their time and energy to wedding planning, and when we saw the photos, we were not just happy but in awe! From the color scheme, the two had decided to use the lovely wedding reception decor, everything was planned down to the T. And there’s something to be said about such weddings, and that is that we love covering them! We love looking at the beautiful wedding photos our photographers take. Looking at couples, who’ve just tied the knot, our heart fills up with warm and fuzzy feelings. Our wedding photographer met the two on the wedding day and talked about the kind of wedding photos they needed. Our couple for the day was excited to get the day started. Their two-venue wedding was everything that a wedding should be. Beautiful, lively, and airy!

Nestled along the banks of the Providence River, the city of Providence stands as a captivating blend of historical charm, vibrant culture, and scenic splendor. With a rich tapestry woven from its past and an ever-evolving present, Providence is a captivating destination that offers a journey through time, a plethora of attractions, and the allure of its natural beauty. The roots of Providence delve deep into history, dating back to its founding in 1636 by religious dissenter Roger Williams. This revolutionary figure sought to establish a haven of religious freedom, setting the stage for the city's progressive spirit that still thrives today. It's fascinating to walk through the streets that once echoed with the footsteps of visionaries, reshaping the course of American history. Among the city's historical gems, the Rhode Island State House reigns supreme. With its gleaming white marble façade and a striking dome inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, it serves as an architectural marvel that has been a symbol of democracy and governance since its completion in 1904. Nearby, the Providence Athenaeum, one of the nation's oldest libraries, invites visitors to step into a world of literary wonder that has inspired generations. Providence's cultural landscape is equally captivating, with its thriving arts scene evident in the renowned Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art. The museum houses an eclectic collection ranging from ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, offering a visual journey across eras and styles. The city's theaters, galleries, and live music venues contribute to its dynamic artistic vibe, making it a hub for creative expression. However, Providence's allure extends beyond its urban offerings. The city's stunning natural beauty beckons exploration, with Roger Williams Park serving as a verdant oasis encompassing 435 acres of lush landscapes, serene lakes, and fragrant gardens. The Roger Williams Park Zoo adds to the charm, allowing visitors to embark on a global adventure within its borders. But perhaps the most enchanting aspect of Providence is its waterfront allure. The Waterplace Park and Riverwalk, a series of cobblestone walkways alongside the river, come alive in the evenings as fire is lit atop the water, creating a romantic and mesmerizing spectacle known as WaterFire. This unique and evocative art installation captures the essence of Providence's spirit, inviting locals and visitors alike to bask in its ethereal glow.

The wedding ceremony venue for the day was the beautiful Our Lady of Mercy Chapel. Nestled within the heart of Providence, Our Lady of Mercy Chapel stands as a serene haven of spiritual solace and architectural elegance. This sacred place of worship, with its graceful lines and intricate details, embodies both reverence and beauty. Built-in 1888, the chapel's Gothic-inspired design transports visitors to an era of intricate craftsmanship and devotion. Its spires reach heavenward, a testament to the aspirations of faith and the divine. The stained glass windows, vibrant with hues that dance with sunlight, create a kaleidoscope of colors within, illuminating the sacred space with a celestial glow. Once the couple was dressed, they went to the chapel to take their wedding vows

Before the couple made their way to the wedding ceremony, they decided to get ready separately. The girls and the boys were quick to get into the day’s festivities. The groom, Mike, and his groomsmen decided to dress up in a brilliant three-piece wedding suit paired with a lovely bowtie! Our groom looked ready to seize the day. The wedding outfit for the ring bearer was also tailored in the same way! Our wedding photographer took the getting-ready photos of the bride and her bridesmaids. The girls not only enjoyed the day but were also absolutely thrilled to get their day started. From sitting down in similar getting-ready outfits, the bridesmaids were not only filled with excitement but also keen on helping the bride. Before our photographer took photos of the bride and her bridesmaids, they took photos of the details. From the wedding invitation set, the bridal shoes, and the wedding rings. As the bride read a letter from Mike, which was printed on fine stationery, our photographer captured a meaningful moment. And as Jacqueline took a moment to read the letter, our photographer also took some amazing shots of the wedding dress with its majestic train. Jacqueline had picked out a lovely wedding dress, with its beautiful lace wedding dress bodice and an illusion neckline, the train added an extra touch of elegance to the wedding dress. This dress was from Alexandra's Boutique, and it made Jacqueline look stunning! Our Providence wedding photographer took a few photos of the bridal dress and then moved to the photos of the girls. The bridesmaid outfits were beautiful emerald green satin dresses. To keep all details synchronized, Jacqueline had planned for the flower girl outfit to be made similarly. Once the bridesmaids were dressed for the day, they helped the bride for the day dress up, with her bridal makeup and added the finishing touches. And just like that, they were ready for the first event of the wedding. But before that, Jacqueline had a heartfelt moment with her father. Instead of having a first-look session with Mike, she had it with her father. Her father was happy and proud when he saw her, and the bridesmaids smiled in honor of the moment. Our photographer captured the heartfelt moments shared between the two of them.

The groom and groomsmen had already reached the wedding ceremony venue. Our photographer also took wedding photos with the groom and bride’s father, who were dressed exactly like the groom and his groomsmen. It warmed our hearts to see everyone dressed in the same set of colors and outfit styles! As they were waiting for the bride to reach the church, our photographer took some family photos! Our photographer helped the groom pose for photos with his groomsmen, then helped to incorporate the ring bearer and both of the fathers. After these group photos, the bride arrived and everyone made their way indoors. As the wedding guests for the day were seated, and waited, the groom and groomsmen had already made their way to the altar. The wedding altar at the church was beautiful and serene. As the room quieted down, it was easy to tell that everyone was excited and couldn’t contain the excitement. Our photographer was ready, with their camera pointed to the doors to capture the alluring beauty of the bride as she walked in with her father. As if on cue, the doors opened, and as Jacqueline walked with her father, she glided down the aisle to Mike on the altar. Looking at her, it was easy to tell that Mike’s heart skipped a couple of beats and helped her up. As the wedding ceremony went on, the guests witnessed two souls become one and begin a new chapter in their lives. As Jacqueline and Mike exchanged their heartfelt vows, their eyes met in a gaze that conveyed a thousand emotions. Their words, though spoken softly, echoed through the hearts of all present. The sunlight danced upon their faces, illuminating the profound joy that radiated from within. The two, after they finished their wedding ceremony, walked down the aisle, hand in hand, and with smiles plastered on their faces. The two lovebirds could not stop smiling!

As the wedding guests parted to make their way to the wedding reception, our couple, their family, the groomsmen, and the bridesmaids stayed back with the couple. Starting with lovely family photos, our photographer helped Mike and Jacqueline pose for amazing family photos. Then, our photographer helped the two pose for photos in a group setting, before helping them take mesmerizing photos with their gangs! After family photos, our photographer decided to have the groomsmen and bridesmaids pose for photos to remember the beautiful day. As the sun was mild for the day, the photos not only look beautiful but have an ethereal quality to them. And then, everyone made their way back to the beautiful wedding reception venue to continue the day’s celebrations! It was here that our photographer had the couple pose for romantic photos since the architecture of the wedding reception venue was ethereal, romantic, and just brilliant. Before that, our photographer also helped the bride and her bridesmaids take a few photos in a group setting. After taking a few photos of the couple, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen, our photographer took a few wedding detail photos. The wedding details and the theme for the wedding were simple, and pretty! For the couple's photos, the massive stone details, the expansive venue, and the day’s weather were just right. One look at their wedding photos, and you’ll know that these two are meant to be together!

Mike and Jacqueline made use of the beautiful wedding reception venue. Ochre Court, a jewel that sits within the picturesque campus of Salve Regina University, captivates with its timeless beauty and architectural grandeur. Standing proudly as a testament to Gilded Age opulence, this magnificent mansion serves as an enchanting backdrop for weddings. Built-in the late 19th century, Ochre Court’s awe-inspiring French Gothic architecture transports guests to a bygone era of elegance and extravagance. Its intricate stone façade, adorned with delicate carvings and sweeping archways, exudes an air of regal sophistication. To make use of the space, our couple decided to use minimal wedding detail ideas for their celebration! To make their elegant wedding ideas even better, the couple placed a beautiful wedding favor for their guests on every reception table. The reception that followed was a symphony of laughter, music, and celebration. The atmosphere was a fusion of elegance and whimsy, a reflection of the unique personalities that had come together. The tables were adorned with amazing floral centerpieces that seemed to mirror the blossoming love between Jacqueline and Mike. The two decided to have a wedding cake ceremony surrounded by their closest friends. The couple had decided to choose a beautiful three-tier wedding cake. The wedding cake had a spiraling floral detail added to it. Our photographer also took photos of the wedding cake with the couple. These photos not only look eloquent but also make them look exceptionally happy.

To get the party started, Jacqueline and Mike walked in, hand in hand, and the guests cheered. Their wedding reception entry was soft but elegant. Taking the floor for the first dance routine, our couple danced away. Looking at these two dancing was like watching two hearts beat in sync. After that, it was time for them to dance with their families. The bride and groom shared the dance floor with their father and mother, respectively. Taking the time to enjoy the heartfelt words that were said, it was easy to tell. As the wedding party continued in full swing, our photographer took some photos of the wedding guests enjoying the party Jacqueline and Mike had put together. Continuing, our couple sat down at their wedding sweetheart table and enjoyed themselves with their closest people. As the day blended into the night, the wedding cake-cutting ceremony took place. As the wedding dinner was served, our photographer took photos of the couple as they shared a drink. And just like that, the story of their love story unfolded - the setting was a picturesque haven, where nature itself seemed to celebrate their union. A quaint garden, adorned with delicate blossoms and vibrant foliage, bore witness to a love that had grown stronger with each passing day. Their story, one that had been etched into the fabric of time, was about to be celebrated in the most beautiful way imaginable.
