We have always loved the California coastline, and when we see couples getting married at a waterfront wedding venue, we are absolutely thrilled! Jilian and Greg had decided to tie the knot with the beautiful view of the California coastline and were surrounded by their happy wedding guests. Our couple for the day were excited to get their wedding day started. It was easy to see that the two wanted to start their day together, as soon as possible. For the day, they had decided to have a first-look photo session. Their wedding day events were slated to happen in only one wedding venue. As the time for their wedding ceremony was drawing close, they were happy and excited! For the day, our L.A. wedding photographer met the two before the wedding ceremony and their getting-ready session. Before starting the day, our photographer had a short talk with the couple to understand exactly what they wanted for their wedding day. And then, our photographer captured the beauty of the day and their happy faces. 

Los Angeles dubbed the City of Angels, is a captivating city that seamlessly blends natural beauty, rich history, and a myriad of cultural experiences. Also known as the city of dreams and the seat of Hollywood, it sits along the stunning California coastline and offers a unique mix of attractions that will undoubtedly leave you enthralled and brilliant sights. The beauty of Los Angeles is multi-faceted. Graced with miles of pristine beaches, where the golden sands meet the azure waters of the Pacific Ocean, and peppered with many attractions, there’s much to do here. And that perhaps, justified the name given to the city, the City of Angels. Iconic beaches like Santa Monica and Venice Beach are a hotspot for sunbathers, surfers, and joggers alike. The sight of a radiant sunset sinking into the ocean is a sight to behold, casting a warm, golden glow over the horizon. The city’s history goes back centuries. The historic El Pueblo de Los Ángeles, often called Olvera Street, takes you to a bygone era. With its cobblestone streets and charming mix of buildings lining the street, this place is just a brilliant example of the city's Mexican heritage and the birthplace of Los Angeles itself. One of the city's most alluring features is its natural trails and outdoor adventures. Griffith Park, an expansive urban park, offers hiking trails that lead to the iconic Griffith Observatory. From here, you can witness breathtaking views of the cityscape and the starry night sky. For those seeking more rugged terrain for some adventures in the city, the Santa Monica Mountains provide a rugged backdrop for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring the wilderness. Los Angeles is also a cultural melting pot, offering an array of attractions and activities. The Getty Center, an architectural masterpiece, houses an extensive art collection spanning centuries. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) boasts a diverse range of art from around the world. Our couple had decided to have their wedding at a brilliant wedding venue, Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina. 

The Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina stands as a testament to architectural grace and coastal elegance. Nestled on the picturesque shores of Redondo Beach, this splendid retreat showcases a design that seamlessly integrates with its breathtaking surroundings. The hotel's architecture blends with the coastal landscape, featuring a blend of contemporary aesthetics and coastal charm. Its structure, characterized by clean lines and a tasteful color palette, exudes a sense of tranquility that complements the nearby ocean. The expansive windows and open-air spaces ensure that every corner of the hotel offers mesmerizing views of the Pacific Ocean, creating an immersive experience for guests. The outdoor spaces are a true architectural marvel. The terraces and balconies, adorned with lush greenery, invite guests to unwind while overlooking the marina. As the sun sets over the horizon, the hotel's well-planned lighting design accentuates its architectural features, casting a warm, inviting glow that enhances the coastal ambiance. This was the location for the two to tie the knot. This beautiful couple’s wedding day was everything you’d expect for a lovely and pristine beach wedding! 

As the day of celebrations was starting, our photographer shadowed the couple to capture the just right and perfect wedding photos of the two. Starting from the getting-ready photos, our photographer was hands-on with everything. Framing every moment and ensuring that all the wedding details were captured for the two in timeless photos, our photographer encapsulated every moment for the two. As the groomsmen and the groom were getting dressed, our photographer took photos of the camaraderie the boys had. With a soft smile on everyone’s face, all the boys were excited to witness the love story of Jilian and Greg’s love story! The groom was dressed in a slate gray wedding suit. To make his wedding outfit fall-inspired, Greg paired his suit with a scarlet red vest and a dual-tone tie. The groomsmen for their wedding day followed suit. However the groomsmen's outfits had a soft twist, they did not have dual-tone ties, but a single-color, red, tie. Once the groom’s closest people were dressed, Greg decided to surprise them with the best groomsmen gifts. Our groom had decided to have flasks personalized for all of the groomsmen for the wedding. Looking at the gesture of love, and care, all of the groomsmen were ecstatic. Before they escorted Greg to the spot he and Jilian had decided upon for their first look photo session, our photographer had the groomsmen pose with their groomsmen gifts for a beautiful photo. 

As Greg and his gang made their way to the spot where Greg would wait for a bit for his bride-to-be to step in, our photographer made their way to Jilian’s dressing rooms. By the time our wedding photographer arrived, the bridesmaids were dressed and Jilian was getting ready. Our photographer made the best of their time by taking photos of the wedding details. As Jilian’s make-up artist was at work, our photographer took a beautiful photo of the bridal dress. The dress was a beautiful slip wedding dress in white from Bellasposa Bridal & Photography. This dress also had a lovely ruffled skirt with tiers. When Jilian, later, finally put it on, the tiers added to the silhouette of the dress and made her look as though she was gliding over the floor! After taking the bridal dress portrait, our photographer moved on to the wedding details of the day. Our photographer took photos of the wedding accessories Jilian had laid out for herself. Her bridal stilettos were slightly blue and had lace-like embellished details. The gold details on the footwear made it look stunning. Our photographer also took photos of the vow books. Greg’s vow book was a black sleeve with gold lettering that said “his” and Jilian’s was in white with gold lettering spelling out “hers.” To make the photo of these details look stunning, our photographer also added the wedding rings on these vow sleeves! Our couple had also picked out a beautiful quote as the backdrop for their accessories. The quote said, “Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.” This we found was a romantic detail to an already romantic setting. Jilian’s wedding day look was stunning. Her bridal makeup was simple and natural. Her bridal earrings were small, yet elegant. To elevate her bridal hairstyle, our bride for the day added a hair clip with rhinestone details. Keeping her bridal accessories and jewelry minimal, she used a pearl necklace to make her wedding day look just right! Before the bride-to-be and the bridesmaids left the dressing room, our photographer took a photo of them. The bridesmaids were dressed in light gray, almost muted gray, dresses and had white and red bridesmaid bouquets. Jilian’s wedding bouquet was similar, just bigger. 

And then, the bridesmaids escorted their girl to the first look photo spot! Our photographer was ready and in position to capture the beautiful moment as it unfolded, Greg was patiently waiting for his soulmate to walk down the venue’s winding paths, find him on the lawn, and softly ask him to turn around. And before Greg knew it, he felt a soft tap on his back and knew it was his girl, his soulmate, his soon-to-be-wife. With a short and sharp breath, he paused only for a second before he turned to face his soulmate. And when he did, he could not stop smiling. Just like Greg, the moment of anticipation was upon Jilian, it was easy to see that Jilian was excited to have Greg see her all decked up for their wedding. Even before these two tied the knot under the white tent, the first look photo session marked the beginning of these two’s brilliant journey. We were happy to see that the two were happy and excited to be together. Our wedding photographer took a few photos of the two before the wedding ceremony commenced! After taking smiling and happy photos of the first look session. And then, the couple parted ways for only a bit. 

As the wedding ceremony time was coming close, our couple took their spots before the wedding event. Our wedding photographer took photos of the outdoor section of the wedding venue! The fall season’s weather was absolutely perfect on their wedding day, and the color combination for the day lit up the decor and details. The white tent with minimal wedding decor details was inviting and comfortable. Our couple was excited, their photos show that! And our photographer took photos of Greg at the altar waiting for the ceremony to start. The wedding guests took their spots on the white wooden chairs facing the ceremonial altar for the two. This tent was overlooking the beach and the moody waters right behind them! Our wedding photographer took photos of the wedding ceremony decor that our couple had handpicked. And then Jilian made her wedding ceremony entry with her father and smiled brightly. Our wedding photographer followed the beautiful bride. As she glided and then walked up to the wedding ceremony tent, our photographer took the right position to take photos of the couple as they breezed through the wedding ceremony with a smile, focusing on all the details and taking note of the wedding officiant’s words. And then, they took their heartwarming wedding vows, almost bringing some to tears, and sealed the day with a romantic kiss. All the wedding guests cheered, smiled and were just happy! As the recently married couple made their way down the aisle, our photographer took photos of them smiling and being happy. 

As the wedding guests dispersed for a break, our photographer took photos of the couple with their families. Taking turns, the groom and the bride took stunning family photos. And then they took group photos with groomsmen and bridesmaids. Our beautiful couple for the day looked stunning and were full of bright smiles as they struck different poses. Then, it was just the two of them. Our photographer took a few bridal portraits of Jilian. The blue curtains of the venue added more color to the bridal photos! Then our photographer took some beautiful romantic photos of the bride and the groom. And that said, our photographer took some beautiful photos of the wedding reception setting and the dinner details of the wedding. Jilian and Greg had decided to throw a classy white and black wedding reception dinner! The pristine white round table settings were coupled with a wedding menu card with the couple’s photo on the menu card. The couple made their wedding reception entry with great pomp and show and took the floor to have their first dance. As the couple danced away, our photographer took photos of the couple dancing to their first dance song. And then they took chances to dance with their family members. And then, as the wedding guests took to the floor, our photographer took photos of the couple’s multi-tiered wedding cake, with white and gray details. Our couple had also had their wedding cake designed with pear-like details with fondant. To make it better, they even added more edible roses. Before the wedding cake-cutting ceremony, the couple stole away a bit to take more photos on the beach. Taking the lovely beachy background in the photo frames made their photos look even more dreamy. And then they stepped back, smiling, and had their cake-cutting ceremony! And just like that, their wedding day came to an end. Our couple sat at their pretty sweetheart table and watched the wedding guests enjoy their wedding party!
