It was built in the late 1800s and designed by Stanford White, the architect known for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden, and the iconic arch at Washington Square Park. The same eye for detail that went into creating those legendary landmarks was applied to this striking New York City wedding venue.

While the Crystal Plaza has been updated and brought into the modern age, it still has the 19th-century elegance that will make you and your fiance feel like royalty on your special day. For your wedding ceremony, exchange vows in the gardens under their magical gazebo surrounded by greenery. With constantly blooming flowers and greenery that changes with the season, the bursting florals will create a colorful and vivacious backdrop to your New York City wedding photography. The surrounding gardens are picturesque and peaceful to walk amongst with your wedding party and family for formal portraits. There are over five acres of gardens to explore, and there are romantic touches, such as iron street lamps imported from Italy, that would make unique props in your photos.

The ceiling is adorned with gold and accented with thirty crystal chandeliers, which of course, inspired the name of the venue itself! Ornate columns line the walls, and the large, round dance floor at the center of the room is the perfect stage for your first dance.
