There’s nothing quite like Grand Central Terminal - especially for your New York engagement photography session. The main terminal is about as picturesque as a couple could hope for. The vaulted ceilings are painted to mimic the sky, and if you look closely enough, you might see a star twinkling your way! 

Built by the Vanderbilt family, Grand Central services thousands of commuters every day, but it’s worth navigating the crowds. If you’re considering this location for your portraits, you’re best suited at off-peak travel times in order for your engagement photographer to capture some truly memorable shots. 

The clock in the middle of the terminal reminds travelers of the time and serves as a great prop for your photos. The stone staircases are grand, gorgeous and offer ample photo opportunities. Pretty much any way you shake it, Grand Central is a great place for a photo op. 

The three arched windows on the side of the terminal are stately and grand. We recommend posing somewhere in the middle of the expansive hall to get the best view - and you’re sure to capture the hustle and bustle of the station as people move by. 

Don’t forget a trip to the ramped passageway. A shot in front of the stunning chandelier is an absolute must.
