Harry Myers Park

Just a short drive away from the Dallas - Fort Worth metro area is Harry Myers Park, a great location for your engagement shoot. The park has lots of beautiful features that will provide excellent backdrops for your shoot, from the lake to the gazebo to the lightly wooded natural open space. 

Enjoy the calm waters of Pickens Lake from underneath the shade of an oak tree, or walk under the the lovely arbor constructed with rough-hewn wooden logs and covered with climbing plants. You might be able to catch the pink tulip blooms in the spring as well as take lovely photos on the wooden pedestrian bridge that spans the lake. 

You’ll enjoy the spreading green lawns of the park and the stone and wood accents of the pavilion and the gazebo. The dock is another lovely area to shoot with wood painted a rich red set against the blue of the lake as it reflects the sky. There are many trails that wind around the lake and make for great exploring.
