Rachel and Brendan’s St. Louis Tropical Inspired Soiree

02-26-19

Planning a wedding? Take a cue from Rachel and Brendan who celebrated an artsy, tropical wedding with close family and friends.

They chose the Jewel Box, a botanical garden, as their wedding venue in St. Louis Missouri and what a sight it was!

Built with a cantilevered, vertical glass ceiling, the couple was surrounded by quaint floral arrangements and lush trees as they said their ‘I Dos’. The equatorial inspired backdrop coupled with the bride’s playful and whimsical style made for an effervescent affair altogether.

The altar itself was breathtaking, situated under a canopy of palm trees where the couple exchanged their vows. They were thronged by bridesmaids dressed in the sequined outfits of muted champagne tones.

The Jewel Box offered a grand lobby decorated with awe-inspiring fountains and peppered with seasonal flowers from different parts of the city to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Rachel’s unique bridal style was simple and demure, with a flowy train that was captured perfectly by their wedding photographer. The breezy shots of Rachel’s flowing train were one of the highlights of their wedding photography session. To add a pop of color to her simple outfit, she opted for some bright purple heels with faux fur to add her personal fun-filled touch.

The wedding theme incorporated perfectly balanced jewel tones as Brendan’s bright blue suit complimented his bride’s outfit impeccably.

The children in the wedding party stole the show by sporting matching dresses with banana leaf prints, creating a refreshing vibe with the tropical theme.

The day was bright and gorgeous for a perfectly electric wedding. We love how the couple chose to have organic elements included in their wedding. Their outdoor shoot was absolutely whimsical as they added colorful balloon in their group portraits. Rachel’s brightly colored bouquet of lush reds and bright pinks went perfectly with the theme of the day.

Rachel and Brendan kept up with the wedding trend of incorporating patterns in their wedding, as they chose a quaint geometrical, turquoise cake topper that gave us some serious wedding goals.

The unique style of the dresses, venue and outdoor shoot only reminded us that weddings are a true representation of things you love.
