Patricia & Thanh’s Cultural Two-Part Wedding, Dallas

We must admit -- The bright colors and intricate details in Patricia and Thanh’s Dallas wedding have definitely stopped us in our tracks this week! Between the multiple dresses, two ceremonies and a beautifully extravagant reception, we can’t help but all be on board for this one! You won’t want to miss how this couple embraced both of their cultures and joined them together for one magical wedding day.

We love how Patricia embraced her groom-to-be’s Vietnamese heritage on their wedding day! The pair began their day with a traditional ceremony at the home of the groom. Patricia wore a red Ao Dai and golden Khan Dong, the customary dress and headpiece for a Vietnamese bride. The color red serves as a symbol of good luck! Traditionally, the groom will wear blue with gold embroidery similar to the bride’s to symbolically unify the couple.

In order to keep with the traditions of the West, the bride and groom changed into very classic black and white wedding attire in time for a gorgeous ceremony at the Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth. We can’t help but swoon at the airy golden portraits of the couple throughout the gardens. We highly recommend following in their footsteps and paying a visit to the curved wooden bridge on your big day!

The decor at Patricia & Thanh’s reception is what our wedding dreams are made of! We absolutely adore the combination of dripping crystal bulbs and tulips throughout the reception space. The gold, blush and crystal table decor truly created a magical setting that any bride could envy!
