Kailee and Derek’s wedding is a perfect blend of modern and rustic. If we had to describe their wedding in just three words, they would be: romantic, charming, and elegant. Combining both of their styles and personalities, Kailee and Derek opted for a chivalrous wedding with details that lent a sophisticated vibe to the entire affair.

Their ceremony followed by the reception was held at The Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis, a perfect venue for a whimsical wedding. With hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and large windows with informal elegance, the space is incredibly comfortable yet stylish!

Set against the industrial landscape, the couple channeled crisp fall vibes with their sophisticated attire. Kailee’s strapless tailed wedding gown coupled with her glamorous hair and alluring makeup was flawlessly complemented by Derek’s suave grey suit. Kailee’s shoes and Derek’s bowtie artistically featured some vibrant pops of burgundy, adding regality to the wedding colors. The groomsmen and bridesmaids carried the whole fall theme perfectly, especially the two-piece bridesmaids' dresses—simple and perfect!

The light coming from the extensive windows of the venue made Kailee and Derek’s first look even more dreamy and captivating. They had their wedding portrait session inside the venue. We love this idea for fall and winter weddings. We loved the huge open space of the Biltwell Event Center, decorated with moody florals, burgundy napkins on the tables and all the lights for the ultimate romantic holiday vibe. The rustic feel of the venue was perfectly highlighted by the yellow twinkle lights wrapped around the wooden pillars and suspended from the ceiling. Everything looks simply enchanting in the wedding photos.

The overall fall theme was conveyed elegantly through all the décor, the warm color palette, romantic lighting and especially the three-tier red velvet naked cake. The most scrumptious treat ever!
