Complementing the location of their portrait session, New Hope and Ivyland Railroad in New Hope, PA., Heather and Karl’s vintage engagement photography exuded a joyful hope for their bright future together. The couple opted for a cute and kitschy travel theme for their Philadelphia engagement session. We loved the commitment to the theme - their vintage touches and use of props was absolutely perfect.
 
Heather and Karl made wonderful use of the landmark railways. They posed stylishly among the historic train cars, and on tracks laid in 1891 by the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad. Who knew there was a history lesson in wedding planning!
 
Heather wore an incredible vintage-inspired dress that surely could have come straight out of the 50’s. Her pin curls, makeup, and nude heels completed the look with effortless flair. On the other hand, Karl donned a classy navy suit, tie, and pocket square. The couple completed their look with two classic, antique trunks packed for travel. These tiny details magnified the appeal of their theme.
 
The New Hope and Ivyland Railroad area also offered beautiful surroundings for photos. Overgrown lilac and lush greenery made for a stunning background. The pop of purple from the lilac was the perfect compliment as Heather gave Karl a wistful look, straight from an old-timey, romantic movie!
