Bridget And Chris’s Philadelphian Rustic Outdoor Engagement Photo Session

07-04-23

Engagement is one of the best times for any couple. You’re yet to marry and start a new journey, but the anticipation along with the wedding planning begins quite early. We love watching and hearing from engaged couples, they talk about their future with zeal and they have a beautiful glint in their eyes. And this is also one of the reasons why we love talking about the couples who choose to have their engagement photos taken by our photographers. Bridget and Chris, who had already started their wedding planning and booked a few vendors for their wedding, were deciding on their wedding details. We absolutely loved the couple and their photos from the day. Their engagement photos turned out as beautiful as their love. For the day, the couple had picked out a beautiful park in the city and made it their playground. Our engagement photographer explored the photo shoot location with the couple and helped them take amazing photos to remember the day by. Our photographer also helped the two with a few photo poses so they could have an amazing outdoor photo session. For the day, the couple had decided on keeping only one outfit. The outfits for the day made the couple stand out from the whimsical greenery and the vivid colors of the park.

Philadelphia's charm lies in its ability to seamlessly blend its storied past with a vibrant present, making it a city that continues to captivate and inspire visitors from around the world. It was in this city, the two had decided to have their wedding. Bridget and Chris had decided to have a two-venue wedding. They wanted the ceremony to happen elsewhere and the reception venue elsewhere.

The wedding ceremony was booked to be St. John the Evangelist-Philly. And for their reception party, the couple had decided to book the Crystal Tea Room. They were excited about their upcoming wedding and wanted to make sure that every wedding detail was planned well. For their engagement photo session, they wanted to keep things simple, chic, and stylish. They decided to have only one outfit for the day and decided not to change into a second outfit. For the day, they decided to have minimal makeup too. Bridget had her hair down and kept her hairstyle idea simple and swept back. She decided to don a pretty white dress with lace details. To match her style for the engagement photo session, Chris decided to put on a white dress shirt and paired it with deep rust pants. For accessories, both of them kept things minimal. Chris put on a black belt and chose to put on brown shoes. Bridget had a pair of white strappy sandals. We loved to see the enthusiasm in their photos. Our photographer captured their happy faces and bright smiles, showing how much the day meant to them.

The two were excited to get their outdoor photo session started. The park was expansive, Bridget and Chris knew exactly where they were going to pose and the photo spots they will enjoy using for their photos. Talking to our photographer, the two started off in a spot with open space and started decided to start off their day! The first few photos of the day were cute and romantic. Our engagement photographer helped the two to pose for some pretty photos. Starting off, our photographer helped them pose for photos by asking them to stand close and look directly into each other’s eyes. This photo pose idea was perfect because it allowed our photographer to ask them to switch it up! From that photo pose, the two of them had a burst of romantic photos! We loved how happy the lovebirds looked in these photos! Inspired by this, our photographer also helped them have similar photos in front of the pool in the park! The two were happy to put on their happy smile and poses. Trying out a few different poses, our photographer captured the best of these two!

First, our photographer took close-up shots of the two, with the backdrop of greenery and leaves from plants. Then, taking a step back, our photographer took a few photos of the two in front of the small pool in the park. The gothic sculptures around the pool added a touch of beauty to their engagement photo session! Here, our photographer did not have to show the two what to do. They were just natural in front of the camera. With the pool in front of them, they followed the instructions our photographer had helped them with initially. They softly smiled at each other, had broad smiles, and were exceptionally comfortable in front of the camera. Using the spot around the pool, the couple easily posed for some photos. A few of our favorite photos from this spot were where Bridget was standing in front of the groom-to-be, and was looking up at him, and another one, where the two were looking, deeply, into each other’s eyes, making it seem as though they only had eyes for each other.

With anticipation and excitement, they ventured along a sun-drenched path, surrounded by the gentle whispers of leaves and the intoxicating scent of wildflowers. Our photographer followed them and took photos of every possible photo. With the backdrop of vivid flowers, the photos turned out to look as though these two were traversing through a fairytale-like land. Looking as though Bridget and Chris were high school students, simply looking for a reason to spend time with each other in a forest of pretty flowers and trees, our photographer took a few photos of these two. To us, as we look at the photos now, the vibrant colors of the meadow seemed to welcome them, providing a vivid backdrop for their love story. Dressed in outfits perfectly attuned to the natural ambiance, they radiated joy and embraced each other's presence. As they wandered through the enchanting landscape, stolen glances and tender embraces were frozen in time, creating lasting memories that would forever hold their love.

As the two explored the beautiful park and giggled every time they had a moment, our photographer followed them. Taking photos of the two simply enjoying the moment and each other’s company. As they were exploring, the two came across a pretty spot, where the two found a cute staircase. The reason why we call this cute is simply because of the photos these two had! Our photographer helped the two to use the stairway to take photos that were truly captivating and worth framing! Although the two posed for their engagement photos with a kiss, to us the favorite one is the one that is exactly a few moments before the kiss. Chris is looking at the ground as Bridget gingerly placed a hand on his chest and looked into his eyes. This moment, that precise moment, is what makes our hearts fill up with emotions and happiness for this beautiful couple. That moment shows us that these two are head over heels for each other, and can’t wait to see their wedding photos

Right after this, the two wanted to explore the pretty greenery and colorful spots. The two held hands as they strolled along a winding path, surrounded by the soft hums of the birds, the couple knew exactly where they were going. Our photographer captured their stolen glances, playful moments, and the tenderness that radiated from their souls in timeless photos. The pretty photo spot in the park was the bench opposite the fountain. The park had a few vintage sculptures and details, which added beautiful details to their pre-wedding photo session. This beautiful couple took their spot on the bench and followed our photographer’s instructions. The cutesy couple did not need a lot of help. Their deep-seated love for each other was visible and made their photos look super stunning. Before moving to the next spot in the park, our photographer took a photo of their engagement ring photos. This photo turned out as a beautiful photo worthy of a save-the-date card for their wedding.

The two enjoyed the pretty nature for a bit in the secluded clearing. Embraced by the majesty of towering trees, the couple looked around and smiled at each other’s soft giggles. Rays of sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a mesmerizing glow upon their faces. Amidst the dappled light, they stood, their eyes locked, as if time itself had ceased to exist. The pretty lavender and shrubs made the photo look mesmerizing and absolutely stunning. This photo, to us, was perfectly Instagram-worthy! Our photographer and the couple knew that the sun was about to go down in a while, so they decided to make the most of the rustic charms of the park. From the small area with long pillars and curves, Bridget and Chris posed for exceptionally romantic photos. Here, Bridget posed for a few solo portraits, and then our photographer also took some portraits of the groom-to-be as well. Then, the two walked down the paths of the park and found the grilled gate, which made the two look like they were in an old gothic movie. Then the two walked to the pretty wooden door. The peeling paint made it look rustic and pretty. And just like that, as the sun was going down, the couple was readying to take the last of their engagement photos! They posed in front of tall yellow flowers in the park. The white and rusty outfits of the couple stood out of the backdrop. And just like that, the photo session of this lovely couple came to an end. Our photographer took the photos and knew that these two were made for each other. Wishing them all the best for their wedding day, our photographer bid them goodbye. And when we saw the photos, we were of the same opinion as our engagement photographer. These two look like they are made for each other and these two simply cannot wait to start their lives together!
