Chatfield State Park

Here you’ll love the calm waters of the Chatfield Reservoir, the rolling hills of the park uplands covered in prairie grasses, the ponds, wetlands, and lakeshore, and the incredible views of the surrounding foothills. 

You’ll find many different types of flora to play background to your shoot, including the prickly pear cactus, the yucca, and the purple and white prairie clovers on the plains of the uplands. Enjoy the peaceful rolling main of the park and relax into a fantastic and creative session against a timeless backdrop. Enjoy the natural look and feel of this state park, a little slice of paradise that feels untouched by the human hand. The different layers of treeline, shrub, and grass give a delicate sense of natural architecture that provides a subtle backdrop for your photographs.
