Milton Lee Olive Park

Located on the north side of Chicago, Milton Lee Olive Park is a peaceful oasis right on the shore of Lake Michigan boasting incredible city views and peaceful paths—its variety of elements and epic backdrop make it a fantastic spot for your engagement shoot. 

Trees line the water’s edge in a thoughtful pattern and provide a sense of serenity and completion. One of the unique features of the park is the series of circular fountains of different circumferences that are connected by diagonal walks. According to the designer of the park, the intention behind these fountains is to be reminiscent of something like scattered stones. 

The park juts out into the lake, affording it incredible views of architecture downtown while the park design provides interesting elements up close, like railings and industrial-feeling concrete. The tree-lined paths are even more lovely when contrasted with the nearby urban surrounding. From the park, you also have a great view of Navy Pier, so you can capture sweet moments in front of the Ferris wheel lights. 

This park is a gem off the beaten path. Its fantastic views of the city and the pier make Milton Lee Olive Park a fantastic location for Chicago engagement photography.
