NoDa - Charlotte Historic Arts District

For a couple who loves the arts, Charlotte, and everything (or at least most things) about city life, NoDa is a fantastic place for an engagement shoot. Also called the Charlotte Historic Arts District, this neighborhood was originally established in the early 1900s as a mill community. Now, however, this is the area where locals come to play, see, and taste the latest in city culture. 

Here you’ll be hard-pressed to choose between so many fantastic backdrops, walls, textures, surfaces, and natural elements that are sure to make your pictures stand out. There colors everywhere—from natural red brick and brightly painted doors, to brick painted blue, pink, and yellow, and an eclectic mix of posters, stickers, and street art. Pose in front of one of the many bold and vibrant murals or sit outside at an adorable coffee shop. You can also choose from many different eclectic and quirky storefronts. 

Around every corner you’ll find something else that will delight you—brilliant blue walls, urban fire escapes, brick pathways, and wrought-iron fences. This location is such a lovely setting for Charlotte engagement photography and it’s sure to bring out the color in any couple for a fun and fashionable photoshoot.
