A regal atmosphere coupled with turn of the century, classic gothic architecture, the University Club of Chicago is a wedding venue complete with opulence and timeless charm!
The celebrated Club building, erected in 1908, is amongst the first gothic skyscraper buildings in America. With original gothic adornments at every corner of the structure, neo-gothic stained-glass windows and the wood-paneled walls give off an old European castle vibe. You can roam through the different parts of the Club, including a charming library, a grand staircase and an art gallery with panoramic views of the Chicago skyline including the famed Grant Park – perfect for some classic Chicago wedding photography.
Boasting stained glass windows and elegant décor, the Cathedral Hall is the perfect place for a grand first dance. The 12th-floor gallery, with its outdoor terrace and panoramic views of the Windy City, is great for some remarkable photos featuring the two of you. The Front Grill with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Michigan Room, with its impressive mahogany walls and stone fireplace, provide even more backdrops for your Chicago wedding photographer!
