About Me

Hi, I am Matthew, and I am a San Francisco-based photographer. I have been photographing weddings professionally since 2012, with over 100 weddings photographed. Looking for a photographer for my own wedding helped me realize that I had a unique perspective to offer couples. I leverage my fine art training and love for contemporary art as inspiration for my wedding photography. Creating meaningful images for couples is my passion. I love delivering photos that help them relive the wonderful memories of their wedding.

What is your photography style?

I prefer a more photojournalistic approach to wedding photography, staying mostly in the background without making my presence overly known. While I do offer direction when necessary, I like to let the most beautiful moments happen naturally.

Why do you love weddings?

I love photographing weddings because it gives me the opportunity to connect with couples on a personal level. I use that connection to deliver wedding photos that truly show off their personalities.
