Sunshine, shrubberies, spring scents and sweet sentiments stole the spotlight at Theresa and Wayne’s spectacular New York engagement session. The beautiful backdrop of at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on a sunny June day was all they needed for their beautiful engagement session inspiration.

The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is an urban botanical garden founded more than a century ago. Today, it’s comprised of 52 acres of plants, blooms and horticulture display. We love the modern and chic yet historic feel of this location.

Theresa and Wayne kept it cute and casual - Theresa in a light blue romper and Wayne in a blue button up short sleeved shirt. It was the perfect choice for the casual setting, natural landscape, and bright, blooming flowers.

The two posed all over the garden and among different bright colored flower exhibits. Lilacs, magnolias, native wildflowers, orchids, roses, and water lilies were just a few varieties in the botanical garden that refreshed our eyes. We love a good spring splash of color in our photos.

We couldn’t have been more taken to Theresa and Wayne’s genuinely incredible chemistry. They were smiling, laughing, teasing and having fun throughout their session. Pictures showing natural emotions are always the best, and our New York couple made theirs truly memorable.

Theresa and Wayne paused for a great photo opportunity below a magnificent tree. Its outreaching branches shading the couple with their breadth made a uniquely stunning backdrop. We also loved their adorable photos on the Lily Pool Terrace.

And how can we forget the tropical water lilies that were just starting to bloom in the sunshine? The Jenkins Fountain and the Palm House in the background added even more depth and flair to their photographs. A few romantic, filmic poses in front of the Sakura Matsuri added the balancing historic element to their Brooklyn Botanical Gardens engagement session.
