Marya and Tom worked with their Phoenix wedding photographer for both their engagement session and capturing their big day.

For their engagement shoot, Marya and Tom walked around outside, using the city of Phoenix as their backdrop. They found a number of great murals that mirrored the couples edge and creativity. Marya opted to wear a black off-the-shoulder long sleeved top while Tom donned a white t-shirt. The monochrome of their outfits and simple silhouettes really framed the art.

The couple perched on top of a vibrant geometric mural. They adopted a pretty pose in front of a simple black and white floral line drawing. We love the shots in front of the building that's been emblazoned with the words "We are grateful," a great reminder that you can use existing signage like a prop in your photos.

When it came time for their wedding, Marya and Tom help their ceremony and reception at Villa Siena in Gilbert, AZ. Romance was in the air and visible in the reception décor. The flower-lined aisle and the flowers along the mantel at the ceremony gave their nuptials a dreamy mood. And who could forget Marya's bouquet? The bride carried a decadent cascade of pretty pink roses, adorned with greenery.

The bride wore a simple, form-fitting white dress that paired with the opulence of the bouquet. Again, this couple really knows how to balance and draw focus! We love the way that the sleeveless dress allowed us to see Marya's arm tattoos in all their glory-- and the way the colors from the tattoo paired with the colors of the flowers.

The bridesmaids wore pale pink. The silhouette was simple and clean with high-low handkerchief skirts that added a bit of visual interest. The groomsmen wore grey suits to match the groom. We absolutely love this color palette of romantic neutrals. It had a dusty, desert feel-- absolutely perfect for a Phoenix wedding.
