The ceremony was held at The Grove Redfield Estate, a national historic landmark mansion in Glenview, IL. With its prairie-style architecture lending a vintage, artistic vibe, this Chicago wedding venue was the ideal location for Megan and Brian’s autumn affair.
From the champagne toast to the thoughtful bridal party gifts, Megan and her bridesmaids delighted in getting ready. The Chicago wedding photographer captured the entire joyful experience including a precious moment with her mom.
They say, ‘simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’ and this wedding was just that. With Megan’s light-as-air white chiffon dress, complete with a bejeweled belt, and Brian’s debonair combination of a gray suit with an elegant burgundy tie, the couple exuded grace and sophistication. The bridesmaids wore golden sequined dresses while the groomsmen wore gray suits and gold striped ties, a perfect execution with all the sparkles they spread.
From the regal looking scarlet invite envelopes sealed with wax, to the spools of gold and red ribbons (great photo props) twisted around the decorative ornaments, Megan and Brian left no loopholes in their vintage-inspired wedding details adorning their big day. They brilliantly added fall details such as hints of wood, white pumpkins, cozy lighting and wedding favor coffee bags inscribed ‘Megan and Brian -the perfect blend’.
After saying their vows outside under an old elm tree, the couple strolled through the gardens and had their wedding photographer capture some amazing memories of their wedding day at The Grove Redfield Estate in Glenview, Illinois.
The reception was as sweet as the entire fall wedding. Megan and Brian continued the theme with hues of burgundy and more autumn wedding details. They thought of every detail all the way to a nature-inspired cake and sweet table.
