Love is still in the air from yesterday’s holiday, so we wanted to keep that going by showcasing a pretty amazing love story today. Kevin and Melissa had a fun and lively New York City engagement session followed by a beautiful, traditional wedding ceremony — they even managed to end the night with a more modern reception. Kevin and Melissa took their engagement photos accompanied by iconic New York views at Brooklyn Bridge Park in classic attire. The carefree, yet romantic session lasted through sunset and into dusk, thus providing some stunning silhouette images and dreamy night shots. The wedding ceremony had traditional cultural elements: beautifully bright, intricate attire and decorative customs. Melissa looks absolutely stunning with her unique accessory pieces and smoky makeup. Kevin sported bold ruby-red and gold accessories to match his blushing bride.

As the day when on, things got a bit more modern. The couple switched into a classic tux and beautiful trumpet gown. We adore her corset bodice and feminine headpiece — not to mention, her elaborate veil!

The couple stopped for a few sweet moments beneath the romantic willow trees, which we love for wedding-day photography. As the trees create a shaded area, the lighting for the photographer is simply perfect. A bonus? This natural environment also provides a beautiful, natural backdrop!
