Bright, airy and whimsical are only a few words that could be used to describe this amazing summer soiree in Boston. With a setting as gorgeous as this, it’s no wonder this couple opted for a fully outdoor wedding, complete with an open tented reception space!

How adorable is this look on our groom, Alex? He has completely stolen our hearts with the giant smile he donned while watching Kathryn walk down the aisle. This is wedding day bliss at its absolute finest!

The ceremony and reception were held at Willowdale Estate, a location we won’t soon forget! With its gorgeous cobbled exteriors and ivy covered walls, this venue looks like it came straight out of a fairytale. The vibrantly dressed bridal party, abundance of greenery and open courtyard all came together perfectly to create a dreamy and whimsical atmosphere for Kathryn & Alex’s wedding day.

Since Kathryn & Alex opted for an earlier outdoor reception, they got to bask in the perk of having an abundance of natural light available to them! We also love how they decided to use bistro lighting in the outdoor courtyard to create a romantic summer glow and a more intimate feeling in the reception space. Kathryn & Alex’s night was filled with dancing, laughter and everything that our summer wedding dreams are made of. We will be day-dreaming of this one for some time to come!
