Summer spirit and rich color had us falling in love with the wonderful LGBTQ wedding of Justin and Garrett in Phoenix, AZ. They celebrated on a gorgeous, early June day at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa and created memories full of sophistication, joy, and love.

Groom prep was a sweet and sentimental affair as Justin and Garrett got ready together and helped each other with their ties and cufflinks. The excitement for the big day is evident on their faces.

We loved the matching wedding-day attire of the grooms. The combination of their sharp black tuxes with the rich, jewel-tone hue of their ties looked classically handsome on both of them. Their boutonnieres, holding a single calla lily, were simple yet sophisticated and made a stylish statement.

Taking full advantage of their incredible wedding venue, Justin and Garrett posed on the marble staircase and under the warm glow of the chandeliers for a few beautiful formal wedding portraits. The Mediterranean architecture of the venue enhanced their stunning wedding photography, and we think the two look absolutely head over heels in love!

The ceremony took place beneath a stunning arch in a beautifully appointed ballroom, decorated with rose petals and grand flowers arrangements. Justin and Garrett celebrated the big day with close friends and family, and their group photos convey the special relationships and bonds that only family-focused photos can.

The couple’s night portrait in front of the fountain was so romantic and gorgeous. We love when the warm glow of night-photography is captured just right.

The reception was also filled with unique details! We especially loved the use of Jenga pieces for ‘guest book’ signing and their modern, 3-tier square cake adorned with bowties. But wait, there’s a surprise! Rainbow cake layers inside brought a spectacular pop of color to the simple cake and reminded us all that love wins.

The warm wood paneling, marble tiling and white and green flower arrangements created such an inviting celebration space. The day was truly special!
