01-22-18

Nashville is known for its music, but it's also home to a number of truly gorgeous places that can make for unbelievable photography backdrops. We’ve selected the best spots in the area and and put them together in a favorites list. Nashville's rich history is evident in the fact that two of our three favorites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Homestead Manor and The Park at Harlinsdale Farm are as rich in history as they are in beauty. Homestead Manor is a home that dates back over two hundred years and has ties to The Civil War. The Park at Harlinsdale Farm is known for its Colonial and Queen Anne's architecture. Wine lovers will rejoice at Arrington Vineyards, where you can find beautiful views and delicious wine.

03. THE PARK AT HARLINSDALE FARM

If you're looking for old-world charm, you're going to fall in love with The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006, and once you visit, you'll see why. The buildings were designed in Colonial and Queen Anne's style. As you walk around the grounds, you'll feel as if you've been taken back in time. Many of the buildings are weathered, giving the place an antique feeling. On top of all that, you can look forward to some enchanting wildflowers and greenery.

02. ARRINGTON VINEYARDS

Nestled in the hills of Tennessee, Arrington Vineyards is a stunning place to take photos. At Arrington Vineyards you'll be wowed by rows upon rows of vines. The vineyard itself is surrounded by gorgeous views, and it's a stunning place to watch the sunset. The Grand Barn and Vineyard House bring elements of architectural beauty to Arrington. The honey-colored wood and bright white stone offer a lovely contrast to the vineyards. The barn is the picture-perfect red, which makes for an ideal backdrop.

01. HOMESTEAD MANOR

Homestead Manor is a charming Nashville landmark that's steeped in history. The house, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, began construction in the year 1799. Today, the building is over 4,000 square feet, where every foot is more beautiful than the next. The home even played a role in The Civil War. In 1863, it became "ground zero" for over 6,000 soldiers. One of the standout features of the manor is its knockout porch. The classic Southern porch is an ideal spot to take photos, and it gives you a wonderful view of the grounds.
