Life takes you places, but love brings you home, and Carrie and Andrew brought us home to the sweetest engagement setting in Dallas, TX. We couldn’t have been more excited to capture their session as they enjoyed the best of both worlds with a quaint, at-home engagement session and then moved onto the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum. 

Defining the meaning of easy, natural chemistry, our Dallas couple snuggled up with their two pups on their sofa for a few romantic photos. We loved that this location allowed a genuine glimpse into their everyday life. It was the absolute starring element of this engagement.

Another eye-catching detail was Carrie’s engagement ring. The delicate pearl-topped white gold band on her finger stole the focus in many photos. So gorgeous and unique!
We fell in love with this fabulously candid unique session and how beautifully it captured the couple’s true eclectic personalities, personal collections and love for each other.

Both Carrie and Andrew changed into an elevated, but still casual look as they moved to the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum. The centerpiece of Downtown Square with its impressive architecture and historic significance, the museum brought even more to this Dallas engagement session. We enjoyed how the books on the bookshelves mimicked the color and pattern on Carrie’s skirt. What a whimsical setting as both stopped for a kiss and peeped from between the rows of books. We also loved the creativity of the photos framed by empty shelf space.

Outside, Carrie and Andrew owned the camera as they embraced and shared some infectious laughs. Their chemistry was absolutely undeniable!

The two lovebirds then enjoyed the warm afternoon sun on a quiet bench, with the golden rays peeking through the trees and casting a stunning glow all around. They ended the day with a few snaps along the stone pathways and green foliage of the garden. It was the perfect ending to their homely engagement session that couldn’t have been more candid, sweet and profoundly true to themselves.
