Dubbed a National Historical Landmark and architectural landmark in Chicago’s Financial District, the Rookery Building is the perfect place for a true love story to unfold.

The wedding photographer tapped into these newlywed’s best and brightest selves through location, lighting and movement. From bridge strolls over Lake Michigan to giddy laughs beneath the sun, Amanda and Christopher are the epitome of bliss. Let’s just say we love how avant-garde all these wedding photos are. Amanda was a spitting image of a ‘50s film star. Her wedding dress had a sweetheart neckline with some ruffled texture at the bottom. Her hair was pinned back to a refined wavy perfection with a netted birdcage veil and feather flower applique. Christopher matches his wife’s old-fashioned vibe with a black bowtie. It’s true - this vintage classic look never goes out of style!

Once the reception started, Amanda and Christopher cut the gold-trimmed cake topped with an old-school groom and bride --- and lived happily ever after, with memories of a Chicago wedding imprinted in their hearts for all of time.
