It’s always a good idea to visit the Windy City, but nothing is better than viewing it through the eyes of a newly-married couple and their beautiful Chicago wedding photography! Melissa and Kyle explore America's second city and some of it's most iconic landmarks in their stunning autumn wedding. The sights and sounds of the city really come alive today -- scroll on to see it all for yourself!
Melissa took such a unique approach with her wedding gown! Her long-sleeved wedding dress is adorned with floral-inspired beading and finished with sleek Christian Louboutin nude pumps, which add such a glam touch. The dress form made such a great way to display the gown before putting it on for the big day.
We adore that this couple chose The Art Institute of Chicago for their first look. Talk about a fall wedding! The trees in the courtyard have such a variety of beautiful and intense fall colors that make the whole scene look so magical. The Art Institute makes a great Chicago photo location for any portrait photography, including an engagement session too -- no matter the season!
The wedding party moved on to capture more incredible group photos at the Lurie Garden and Millenium Park. With white shawls and bouquets, the bridesmaids attire ties in perfectly with our beautiful bride. We love that Melissa included a brides-man into her wedding party as well! We love when couple's think outside of the traditional wedding box. Who says there are any rules anyway -- it is your wedding day after all!
Not to miss out on the iconic downtown views, the group made their way for a quick portrait at the Kinzie Street Bridge. With so much of the city to explore, there are plenty of hidden gems that make for great photo stops all over the city. The bride and groom finished off the day with their reception held at the amazing Victor Hall Chicago. The groom and groomsmen even surprised the bride with a little choreographed dance routine! The open reception venue had plenty of room to bust a move. Such a perfect ending to a perfect day!
