There’s no place like home, especially for Caitlin and Tommy! Their Milwaukee home engagement session felt so personal and natural, just like a hometown date.

They planned ahead and used several different backdrops, which kept their session interesting and gave their Milwaukee engagement photographerplenty of creative scenery to work with. The early fall color didn’t hurt, either. Who doesn’t love a piggyback ride through the fallen leaves?

Caitlin and Tommy started off their session at home then stopped by a colorful coffee shop, breezed by the beach and headed downtown. Each scene had its own prop and wardrobe change to fit the setting. 

While hanging at home, the two kept it casual in jeans. They even included their dog in their engagement session! Their adorable pup wore a heart-shaped sign around her neck written with their wedding date. So cute!

At their local coffee shop, vibrant cafe tables and chairs popped in citrusy hues of green, orange and yellow. Here, they used mugs as props for their save the date card! And, yes, their mugs were filled to the brim with hot coffee to sip.

Next stop: the beach. Caitlin was practically floating in her long white dress, and Tommy went nautical-prep in a navy button down. Both were barefooot - perfect for frollicking through the sand and seagrass hand in hand. 

The soon-to-be newlyweds capped off their epic engagement session in downtown Milwaukee. Looking slick against the skyline, they went a little dressier - Caitlin in heeled booties and Tommy in a blazer.

Coffee talk to river walk, they looked completely in their element every step of the way.
