Alecia & Brendon sure know how to nail an engagement session! Not only did they choose the perfect time of day, but their posing and location are on point as well. We can’t help but be inspired by their dreamy images!

Alecia & Brendon decided to take their portraits during the “golden hour.” In photography, the golden hour is a time period which takes place just before sunset and just after sunrise. We love the warming effect this creates in their photos! The glow is breathtaking -- Especially as it reflects off the stream. And since the backdrop they chose for their session is both calming and neutral, we definitely support their bold outfit choices! Alecia’s red, bohemian cardigan provides a bold pop of color, and how cute are Brendon’s emerald green pants paired with his polka dot button up!? Their color palette is the perfect marriage of both vibrant and subtle hues.

We also love how this pair utilized so many different photo spots. Our advice to you is to make sure to travel during your session the way these two did! They took excellent advantage of all the walking bridges, glowing streams, rolling fields, wooden fences, old windmills and rustic barns their Dallas portrait location had to offer.
