Amy and Eric’s picturesque engagement photography session in Los Angeles captured a little bit of everything - from playful and casual at the park to classic and romantic at the beach. Talk about California dreaming! We absolutely love how these soon-to-be newlyweds rounded up two different styles and settings, really a making the most of their session.

This California couple started their session at a local park, where they dressed to match the relaxed nature of their surroundings. Amy took it easy in a breezy sky blue tank paired with a soft grey cardigan, statement jewel necklace, jeans and strappy sandals. Eric decided to match his bride-to-be by wearing a blue gingham button-down with khaki shorts and boat shoes. Totally in their element, their engagement photographer captured their carefree personalities, swinging among palm trees, strolling by charming white garden gates and admiring the city. A graphic colorblock wall made for some unforgettable shots, too!

For a change of scenery (and style!) Amy and Eric kicked off their shoes and headed to the beach. Amy donned a graphic black A-line dress adorned with bold white stripes. Eric chose a classic white button-down with dark wash jeans rolled at the ankle - all the better to chase and embrace each other through the sand and surf. We love how this couple incorporated some creative props into their shoot, including a cozy blanket and rustic wood sign that read: “The adventure begins.”

Playa Del Rey Beach - one of our favorite Los Angeles engagement locations - provided a stunning and versatile environment for beautiful portraits.
