Setting the bar-n high with their Indianapolis engagement session, Nicole and Ryan gave us some major rural engagement session inspiration.

Staying true to their roots, the couple went for the rustic setting of Lark Ranch, Indianapolis for their photo shoot. It may have been a simple setting, but it lacked none of the stunning country charms. It really let the couple shine! Our Indianapolis engagement photographers loved capturing Nicole and Ryan’s incredible chemistry. They were absolute naturals in front of the camera!

Both Nicole and Ryan kept it casual in the dress department. Ryan opted for a checkered button-up and later changed into a denim shirt. Nicole, however, made it interesting with quite a few adorable options. We loved the variety it brought to their engagement photography.

No engagement is complete without a few signs as engagement session props. But who needs extras when the venue itself is a visual wonderland of rural accents?  We loved how Ryan and Nicole owned their venue and posed in front of the rustic wooden fence, on a John Deere tractor and by the haystacks.

Nicole went barefoot in some of her photos and we couldn’t be more in love. It was a cute, country-casual detail that warmed our hearts.

Another wardrobe change and the couple hopped into the back of their truck for a few photos. The light pouring through the trees made everything even more romantic.

What says country more than rural roads, corn fields, farm trucks, and old barn doors? Nicole and Ryan made great use of everything around them. The yellow cornfield and the turquoise farm truck brought pops of color and a ton of vibrancy to their photos.

Finishing the day with a few sparklers, the couple ended the day on a heartfelt note with the help of their fabulous photographer.
