Megan and Cory brought along their wedding photographer on an adventure that would span many months. They announced their engagement with the most charming fall session at Jacob L. Loose Park in Kansas City, Missouri late October. 

Their fall engagement session was beautifully natural. The changing leaves looked stunning and complemented Megan’s auburn hair. Their attire, too, was perfect for the occasion; nothing says cozy and autumn like plaid and denim. 

Megan and Cory created multiple looks with their engagement photographer. They posed next to a rose garden, on a park bench, and under the trees to create variation and a plethora of majestic backgrounds. It was the perfect example of how a great location can make an engagement session - no props or extra flair needed. 

The couple’s wedding day was held at The Barn at Schwinn Produce Farm in late May. It was a rustic and romantic occasion with a classic Americana feel to it - perfect for a Kansas City wedding.

The ladies wore off the shoulder red dresses which paid homage to the detail on Megan’s dress. And we couldn’t get enough of the group's sequin dancing shoes! What a great gift idea for bridesmaids. 

Cory and his groomsmen wore blue with red accents, a classic look that felt summery and all-American. Megan and Cory’s wedding day was full of pretty details. Their ceremony was beautifully styled with custom signs, rose petals and draped fabric. The altar, too, was a simple wooden frame wrapped in white fabric and flowers. The bride and her father walked down a beautiful aisle sprinkled with fresh white flowers that matched the tones of the wedding.

Their reception was incredible! There was plenty of fresh and natural lighting which complemented the summer theme. The event also featured a spectacularly decorated card table, and a card case filled with sentimental family photos and mementos. The couple was sent off under a canopy of gorgeous sprinkler flares.
