Today I have a really awesome wedding to share with you all! As soon as I saw Ann & Nick’s Salvage One wedding, I knew we had to post it for everyone to see! Not only do I have photos of all their special moments and fun details, I also did a Q & A with the bride herself! Check it out below and let me know what you think!
How did Nick propose?
We were back in California at a resort by my parents house and it was the first place he had told me that he loved me. So, we went back there a year and a half later and he proposed. And of course, I ended up spilling my coffee everywhere!
I love your short wedding dress! How did you know it was the one?
I knew that the venue we were at was very untraditional so i decided to go with an untraditional dress. I started googling tea length dresses and I found that one and I found a place in Chicago that had it and I tried it on and was like “done! this is it!”
What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
When Nick and I planned on seeing each other before the ceremony. Our first look was great. He was under an awning and i just walked up and tapped his shoulder and we just had a nice private moment together. A lot of credit has to go to our photographer, Erik, he was really awesome.
Where did you find inspiration for your wedding?
My husband, Nick, and I are very laid back people. We’re very easy going so everything just sort of came along and we just went with the flow. The people who helped us at Salvage One were awesome and laid back too so we just had a really good vibe with them. We wanted simple since the space there had so much going on already.
What was the first dance song?
Without you by Keith Urban.
What is your advice for planning brides?
Don’t stress out! Just go with our gut and go with the flow!
