Rachael and Robert got married on a very rainy day in the midst of Hurricane Irene, but they didn’t let that stop the celebration. Umbrella in hand, they embraced the weather and ventured outdoors to take some beautiful photos together, and we just love the result. How many people can say that they got married during a HURRICANE? Rachael and Robert have such a great wedding story and the photos to prove it!

We all the know the old saying that rain on your wedding day is good luck, but no doubt it can cause some stress for you on your wedding! Relax, though, because rain on your wedding creates some fabulous photos!
If you think it will rain on you wedding, plan ahead. Take a trip to the store, and buy some cute umbrellas, perhaps, ones that coordinate with your color scheme. You can even invest further by purchasing cute rain boots for you and your bridal party!
Then smile because overcast weather is the best weather to be photographed in! The colors in the scenery will pop, and the overall contrast of the photos will be vibrant! Your skin will look flawless, and dewy.
You might not be able to control the weather on your wedding day, but you can control how well you handle it. Plan ahead, and prepare for some beautiful, fun, and creative photos!
