It’s wedding season in the George Street office! The other week you met Courtney M., one of our San Diego wedding consultants, and this week I have the pleasure of introducing you to Stacy, one of our San Francisco wedding consultants! Stacy was able to put together her absolutely stunning Houston wedding from half way across the country, so we had to know how she pulled it all off…

One of the biggest hurdles we faced with our wedding was planning out-of-state. I literally don’t know what I would have done without pinterest, wedding blogs and inspiration sites. For any brides planning a wedding out-of-state, definitely take advantage of inspiration boards when it comes to the design. Also, regardless of your budget, I would highly recommend having at least a Day Of Coordinator. My (now) husband and I are both very detail-oriented so took on much of the planning but knew we wanted to be able to hand over the stress to someone else the day of the wedding. And we’re so glad we did!

What’s funny though, is after all that planning and preparing, the most memorable part of my wedding day was actually something we hadn’t planned for at all. During the reception when our guests began dancing, our photographer approached us to say that the sunset outside was incredible and asked if we wanted to take a few portraits of just the two of us, so we did. I can honestly say it was the best moment of the entire night. You get so caught up in entertaining, talking and hosting that for 15 minutes, we were able to have “us” time, breathe, regroup and take it all in. I get goosebumps thinking back on it. And because we were finally relaxed, our emotions came out in the photos that much more.

When it comes to details and decorations, have fun with it! I would cut out ideas I loved from magazines but then tweak them to reflect us. Our dream was for every single guest to feel comfortable and “like family” at our wedding and I truly believe our dream came true.

Just as I was warming up to the daunting thought of breaking out my winter jacket, this engagement session comes along and reminds of all the things I love about summer — sand in my toes, lots of sunshine, and amazing ocean views! Straight from the beautiful beaches of Los Angeles, Janel & Miguel grace today’s blog with a whole lot of FUN. From the bright colored clothes to the tie dye LOVE sign, every photo catches my eye and makes me jump for more! Xo, Madison

Silver, purple, & teal- my new favorite color combination! I love everything about this wedding & just how well Michealene & Allan put it all together. I love the sparkle, the dresses & especially the flower balloon the flower girl is carrying! The decor is amazing, so modern & unique!

I love bridesmaids in bold necklaces! And Michealene’s DIY bouquet wrap is oh so lovely. Don’t you think?

Salvage One is already a unique venue as is, but Bianca & Michael really made it their own! With colorful runners, long table & monogramed centerpieces- they made this room truly stand out. Look through their beautiful wedding for some pretty great ideas!

I’ve really been inspired by different color bridesmaids dresses. Bianca did this trend very well! All the girls have completely different shades, but they blend so good together. LOVE <3 And I love how she matched all the decor to the dresses. One of my favorites is the lantern centerpiece, how’s that for an adorable (& cheaper) alternative?!

Lauren & Brian had one of my favorite type of weddings: colorful! :) I love that they went with the different colored bridesmaids dresses  & the peacock feather theme! Plus, her bouquet is SO bold & beautiful.

And WOW did you see that amazing cake?! It has to be one of the most gorgeously unique cakes I’ve ever seen! Love, love, love!!!
